iPhone 4 (v4.3.2) [BB 4.10.01]

iPhone 4
Version: 4.3.2 (8H7)
Modem Firmware: 4.10.01

I just purchased a Gevey Sim and have been trying to unlock my iPhone 4 with it, all to no avail. As far as I know, Gevey is still the only way to unlock this version. However, I've been unable to do so thus far, despite multiple attempts. It should also be noticed that I've tried to unlock the phone manually and with UltrasnowCN. I was wondering if a jailbreak might be interfering with the unlock process? Otherwise, I have no idea why this unlock isn't working.

Thanks in advance!

Putting the gevey sim alone isnt enough to [unlock] your phone. You need to do the 112-method.

If you can't do that, just install furiousmod from cydia ( you have to add the source first ) and restart your phone. Give it a few minutes and it'll show full signal. It will say No Sim installed but thats part of the unlocking

I've done the 112-method (though, the call doesn't hang up the first time I press "End" for some odd reason). However, I haven't tried adding the furiousmod from Cydia. I'll try that now and report my results.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Gave the furiousmod a try and after following your instructions, "No Service" popped up.

Just buy an unlock on ebay then you can go up to the lastest firmware and baseband with no issue
If I have helped please press the little thanks button in the right hand corner

After NO Service you STILL don't get signal?

idk, my lady has the same phone and same settings as you described and it worked.

Make sure you have the furious mod for 5.1.1. After that, just turn off and on your phone with the non-AT&T sim card and it should pick up signal after giving you invalid sim/wrong sim card message.

Keep me updated ^.^

Yeah, still no signal. Cydia won't let me download 5.1.1, because I'm still on 4.3.2.

Sounds like you have a bad chip
As I said at this point you might as well get a factory unlock. Speaking as a guy who has had a GEVEy ultra unlock on the same firmware a factory unlock is better any day. Also you will not need to worry about loosing the unlock.
