Mail app freezes!

Hey guys I'm new here, I just signed up to ask this question. I've installed Rainstone on my iPad 2 5.1.1 but the mail app just freezes. Only way is pressing home button to return to springboard. I've also installed the Ipad Siri Fix from their repo. Is there a solution? Is it a known bug?

Well i have the same problem but trying to add a new account it freeze then crash i think it was a daemon i remove by mistake i never new which one was but i restored the idevice did the same thing and then after removing the daemons again it freeze

Before you follow the instructions below install Springtomize from the Sinful repo

below in quotes is from cooldayr in another thread as i had the same problem

yes delete the cache folder. I was confused by this but did it anyway
***You will get white icons on your spring board.***

this i found somewhere else i can't recall where.
Once you get the white icons use Springtomize to get back your icons
open springtomize
click reload
click reload settings
Device will respring

White icons gone.

Ok I did what qnc suggested, so far it's ok with the Mail app but I'll wait for a few days and will reconfirm again back here.. Meanwhile, I've noticed Flipboard freezes too when you click on an article. It just stays loading but never loads. I noticed this before I did the above and it still freezes even after I tried qnc's suggestion. I've tried removing RainStone and everything is fine so I guess this is a bug? Can anyone confirm this?

Not familiar with flipboard so I can't confirm on this.

Ok what qnc suggested worked for the Mail app, but there are other issues I've just discovered that made this seem impractical anymore. Sorry Siri but maybe we'll meet again in iPhone 5

btw, the issues I've had were random crashing in Photos, Flipboard freezes, Camera app blackout but still able to take photos if you press the capture button (ie. photographing blindly), Facebook app freezes when viewing friend's timeline, Safari loads noticeably slower but not too long...I'm sure there are others but I don't have the time to test the 200+ apps on my iPad.

I'd like to help out in finding the bugs but I need to use my iPad for work and just today the Photos app crashed while I was presenting to a client so...yeah...I must remove Rainstone for now. Sorry but best wishes to Cooldayr and thanks for the great port!

I followed these directions and now all my apps except for default iPhone apps have disappeared.
