iPhone 3Gs not booting after being dropped down

Hey guys, I dropped my iPhone while it was charging. It fell from 1m on wood. After picking it up, it didn't power up. Screen was black, like when turned off. I unplugged it from charger and tried to start up. It didn't want to. I connected to iTunes, and it appeared there, and I could sync and so. I put it in DFU mode then used redsn0w to boot tethered, just to get out of DFU. I stayed with pineapple 15 mins, no change. I restored in DFU with official 5.1.1 firmware, and when I boot up, apple logo appears for 15-20 mins, then reboots. Can I save it ? :-s

I hope you did a full backup when you had it connected in iTunes

I don't care about backup, I didn't have important things in it. I just want it to work.

Sure if you are a technician craftsamann iam sure there is no problem if you got the needed skill for that.Otherwise i would find a better option.

Let's say it this way, if the repair costs more then 100 (romania in EU ? i think so ) Euro's you can also look for a mainboard replacent 3gs mainboard | eBay

Well, I dissassembled my iPhone some time ago to replace proximity sensor and ear speaker, and it worked. The problem is more complicated? :-s

This is way more complicated to exchange a soldered to the mainboard chip.

They are soldered in the fabric by machines with super small tolerances .

I think you only changed quick connectors to replace the parts you talked about.

But Multipazz is the hardware pro here .He can tell you what a hassle that would be ,without the right tools and knowledge how to complete that task.

if you want to take a chance you could try bake the main board in the oven

take off the shields set the oven to around 250-300 deg

as soon as the oven reach temp turn it off and leave to cool down

don't open the door until cold !!!

this may buy you a few months more use or kill the board completely

dont expect workshop to make repair if you try this dirty fix at home

to do this job properly you need rework station I suggest you find workshop to do proper job !
