how to install crack apps using winscp

ok you guys just figure this out like 10min ago havent found a post about it yet so ima tell you how i did it since i couldnt do what you guys did. you dont have to use that stupid appsync because i tried and it didnt work for me. gave me trouble for like 2hours. and plus you dont have to open itunes!! all you need is winscp, installous and a crack app. i am running on v 3.1.2

1. install *installous* if you havent from cydia
2.download a crack app with a .ipa format on it
3. open winscp and login
4. now go to the var* folder
5. open up mobile* folder
6. click on library* and it should come up with alot of folders
7. now look for the download* folder
8. now get your app with a .ipa format and drag it in there.
9. once done go to your iphone/ipod and open uo installous
10. go to the download icon on the bottom and you should see your app
11. click on it and click on install!!
12. wait for it to install than exit out of intallous and your app should be there!!
13. please give me credits for finding this out if i am the only one

i couldnt use appsync so i figure my own way of do it..

very good but if you have installous 2.5 which is everywhere you dont need to all that. you can just enter the url where to download the crack then installous will install it on your phone, no winscp, no itunes, no computer. the new installous path is var/mobile/download no longer var/mobile/library/download. let us know if you can sync your cracked apps with itunes and if they work without appsync.
appsync works fine for everybody, you need to install the exact version for your firmware, fw 312 =appsync os 312(on the repo).

well it just because i couldnt find some apps i want it on installous so yeah but i did tried that appsync3.1 i couldnt sync the apps from itune to my phone so that y i came up with this thanks for the help though

Since you do not have a 3Gs, then you have options other than AppSync. If you have trouble using AppSync, then try Installd. It does the same thing using a different method. Installd patches the installd file, whereas AppSync replaces the installd file with a modified version of it (this sometimes results in quirky behavior). You can get Installd from Cydia by adding this source:

http://www.iphone.org.hk/apt/

If you still have AppSync installed, be sure to uninstall it first so it will replace the modified file with the original unpatched file. When installing AppSync or Installd, always install it independantly and RESTART IMMEDIATELY AFTER INSTALL.
