change your SSH password NEVER leave it as the default and ensure it is not ON when you are not using it.
you can try Firewall IP it helps let you know what is going on.
iprotect is good for passcoding your data related stuff like apps sms and photos that way even is someone uses say geckotoolkit to bypass the passcode (A4 and lower devices) you still have the important stuff on lockdown.
and IcaughtU pro would help if it got stolen that way you get the location and picture of the person/where abouts of the phone is. but as always the more stuff you install the more the battery can and will suffer.
i used to have all those things and more. now i just have ssh password changed and leave the phone very minimal and watch what i do on it like a hawk. and if i am around people i do not trust i add a complex passcode instead of a number code to make it harder to crack into.
just depends on what you want to have on your device. as a whole the device is pretty safe from malware and spying stuff even when jailbroken. so far the only real "worm/virus/malware" has been the ikee worm which is basically just a rickroll and an annoying one at that. but better safe than sorry. so i'd recommend be careful with SSH, and grab firewall IP didnt drain much battery and it works. couple that with a passcode and maybe iprotect and you should be golden
