Likes and dislikes about OS6

I've been using OS6 on i4 all day today with no major issues, again this is just a beta so a couple of app crashes here and there are no biggie.

Likes:

• The different color UI
• Non-English keyboard enhancements
• Posting directly to multiple venues like twitter, FB, iMessage ... etc
• VIP Mailbox
• Phone dialogue Answer-end-sent message ... etc
• New phone UI
• All my installed apps worked
• Custom signatures for each email
• New UI for iPhod
• New app store UI
• Map application is nice, no voice directions since it is only a iPhone4

Dislikes

• Some mods on the Arabic keyboard need to get used to
• Feels a bit slower, but maybe because it is a beta

What do you think? Any additional likes or dislikes or hidden treasures.

Given ip4 users ever get a jailbreak in sure we'd get access to tweaks that would put us to par w the 4s

I liked iOS 6. I installed it the day it was released. It ran really well. Not a whole lot of changes, just little subtle things that made it better. Honestly, I feel a lot of the stuff came from jailbreak tweaks - but thats how every new iOS release is. I thought it was all cool that I had iOS 6 but then I released I would be in the car for 7 hours tomorrow and my iPad is WiFi only. So you know what I had to do? Install 5.1.1 again and download PDAnet. Yup, I'm back on iOS 5 with my jailbreak. I think I will stay here until the A4 tethered jailbreak is released for iOS 6. It shouldn't be too long since they already have half their body in the door with Limera1n.

I really am enjoying the iOS6 FW on my iPad 3(wifi). I love that it got siri now, the 3D maps is very nice, and the overall Ui throughout the system is nice too. As far as my iPhone 4 goes it will remain on 5.1.1 jailbroken until theres a public release of the iOS 6 firmware as well as a jailbreak.I do not want to lose tetherme, intelliscreenx and all my other cydia apps.

I guess anyone's iOS 6 experience depends on the iDevice they use... I put it on my 4S but left my iPad3 on 5.1.1 untethered...

Overall, I really like the new iOS. However, it could have just been a 5.2 or something else, but just not iOS 6.

I have iOS 6 on my 4S since the minute it came out, so I got used to it by now... too used to it :/ now when I'll switch back to 5.1.1 untethered, I will miss a few functions alright...

I'm the exact opposite. I knew there would be a tethered JB for my iPhone 4 so that's best for iOS 6. My iPad 3 will have to stay on 5.1.1 because a JB for iOS 6 a far away. I use my iPad way more than my iPhone.

I was really disappointed I mean c'mon we got maps (admittedly epic) siri, passbook, facebook integration (don't use facebook) but no widgets...... I jokingly have been calling it iOs 5.2 out of disappointment...

Really? What does ios 6 have that cydia doesn't ?

-integration with facebook (if you use facebook) is really good because it syncs all the birthdays with the calendar.
-do not disturb feature is awesome...
-new appstore looks good, with the facebook integration.
-phone app updates are good.

and as usual, a jailbroken iDevice is never as smooth as an unjailbroken device, no matter how much tweaks/apps you have/dont have installed from cydia...

It just doesn't merit a whole +1 version increase. More like iOS 5.5/5+ or something.

Very satisfied with iOS 5.1.1., and until final iOS 6 comes out, will hold with my precious JB.

Just found out that those crazy russian hackers hacked 3D maps, flyover and Turn by Turn navigation and ported it to iP4.

I admit most of the new tweaks in iOS 6 have traces in Cydia and that is a little whack.

JB iphone is the best iphone, fuck yeahhhh

Like: Do not distrubed, siri and ui of itunes.

Disalike: battery drain, loose 3G conection, slower, maps to slow.....

I hope thye are gonna take care of these major problems in the finished Ios 6.
