Why do you pirate? [Statistics published]
UPDATE! I asked a few of the kind people of SinfuliPhone (and two other sources) why they pirated at the start of the year and after a sample space of around 60 people, I've now published the results. You can make your own judgement as I do not like to analyse and judge others - even though that is the main goal of a survey.
Anyways here are the results guys! Very interesting indeed, thank you to all who participated!
NOTE: all participants in this survey are anonymous and your answers are confidential unless you state otherwise through your own consent.

In this life i live i take what i want. And on a minor level (this iphone shit) I straight jack as much as possible cause i ain't payin for themes, tweaks and other bullshit when i don't have to.
So what blood, sweat and tears go into theming. Muthafvckaz over charge for themes.
When themers say bullshit like "DONATE" $3.00 for a theme it ticks me off. A donation is just that...a fuckin donation. Which means you contribute as much as you want. They can't flat out say "PAY" or "BUY". Bunch of clowns.
Then they charge for you to "BETA" test?!?!?! Just so you can get the theme before others? Fuck Outta Here!!!! What kinda shit is that?

Done. I pirate almost everything other than BF3, stuff that requires key verification for gaming, not like regular applications, because almost everything that isn't a game has a crack that has working CD keys.

I pirate things becuase, no offence to publishers etc but why pay for something if you can get it for free?
Only a idiot pays £50 for tomtom when you can jailbreak your phone and get it for free.
Besides, companies say its THEFT and your robbing a company of thier profits.
Not really, i download apps because they look interesting and they are "free" if i had to pay 3.99 for GTA3 i wouldnt have bothered as i already had it played it won it 10 years ago.
So they would never have got my money if GTA3 was cracked or not.
at the end of the day
fuck em
piracy has been going on ever since twin tape decks were invented and the only reason why companies go bust is thier crap, business gets taken over by a bigger one or the market (dreamcast for example) dies
