Factory unlocked with BB 6.15.00

Hi guys i got a problem with a 3GS of my friend she have it with BB 6.15.00 firmware 4.1 and recently i helped her to factory unlocked with ATT unlock method for customer and she try to unlocked via itunes as att representative told her to but she cant unlocked is there a method to do it without downgrading the baseband.

first off, why not downgrade the baseband, and second, if at&t unlocked it you need to either restore or deactivate the phone so it will reactivate as unlocked. Search the forum for deactivating. You can use sam or redsn0w to do it.
