Windows explorer crashes when iphone plugged in {Solution!}

For the life of me I cant figure out why windows explorer is crashing everytime I plug in an iphone or ipod touch on windows 7. I've searched the net for answers and all the threads have replies like "me too" or "reinstall itunes" I've even reinstalled windows, and the problem came back after a week. Has anyone else experienced this?

---------- EDIT ----------

Well, nevermind, after weeks of searching, one of the links I clicked on actually helped. For anyone else experiencing this issue look HERE

Hmmm and what was it now ? Your systemfiles of your OS are missing or are corrupt ?

Well you can't then say that the suggestions to reinstall itunes or setup windows new are not valid suggestions. Of course if the setup cd of your os includes error's ,its hard for someone that doesnt sit in front of your pc to check the system files on his own cant estimate what could be the problem .

If i made my a new windows partition and reinstalled windows all the problem's that i faced before the reason for the new setup of windows always used to fix my problems.

Thanks for posting your fix..

Thats the thing though, it seemed to be extensions of programs that were installed after, or some sort of dependencies that was causing the problem. I actually reinstalled windows off of a flash drive. Reinstalling itunes did not fix the problem. A google search of this issue would reveal a lot of other people with this issue that seems to come out of nowhere with various versions of windows.
