Help me please i have an unlock problem

Dear All;

I have a problem here ,, I have an iphone 4 on i.o.s 5.1.1 Baseband 01.59 but the ultrasn0w 1.2.7 can't unlock the phone ,, i don't know what's the problem can anybody help please?

can't ? are you installing it from cydia? give us more info, how you are making it ? what repo you used to download and install redsn0w, what error it shows ? or installation goes fine and you still have no service ? did you reboot twice after that ? Don't forget to check your modem firmware again ( baseband ) maybe you accidently upgraded it ?

Try installing ultrasn0w fixer for 5.1.1 first then install the ultrasn0w unlock

No need now, ultrasn0w has been update to 5.1.1!

the installation is done but no network ,i tried uninstall then install again, i tried the fixer but all went in vain,i did the restart twice,the baseband is still 01.59.00 ,it keeps searching then no service,i live in Egypt ,carrier Mobinil

remove sim card and insert again, if not working, insert another one from same operator, than insert yours.

i did this also, i think i have to try reinstalling the ios ,rejailbreak, and unlock ,or no need as the unlock is not related to the ultrasn0w?

what happen whit 5.1.1 BB 4.12.01, is still can't be unlocked

The problem isn't in the ultrasn0w the same problem i had with my iphone 4, PROBLEM SOLVED: i downloaded another firmware coz there were 2 versions ,one works with the locked mobile phones and the other doesn't ,, for the iphone 4 i used the file 9B206 instead of 9B208, (Both files are for GSM) but as i mentioned b4 PROBLEM SOLVED Thx DEV TEAM

wait so which one did you use to fix it? 206 or 208....im on a i4 1.59.00 , 5.1.1....after jailbreak with snowbreeze and unlock with ultrasnow 1.2.7 i have everything but 3g....says 3g uptop but cant connect to network is what it says when i try and go on net...

9B208 is what i used...but still data issues, says 3g uptop but no data works...trying 206 right now

No ,, use the 206 not the 208 for locked phones

Yes, my locked iPhone 4 did not restore properly with custom IPSW built with 9B208. It did work with the custom firmware built with 9B206.
