How to down-grade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 then to 3.1.1 or to 3.0 or to any FW easy way. :)

I all i found this out last night while trying to get gpsphone to work on my 3g.

First off what you need is:
Iphone you want to downgrade.

custom FW - google is your budday! ,so far ive gotten my 3.1.3 down to 3.0. : )


Alright so first of you need to put your phone into DFU mode. After that fire up mister Ireb. click on the button under the idevice you have, wait a few seconds. Your iphone will bring up this white white screen. click on the open itunes button. Shift click restore and select your FW, Now your FW can be any version. Here is the tricky part once it runs and restores it it will tell you to restore your phone, Unplug it from your computer turn it off then back on. It will boot up and run like a charm

All this i found out myself if its already some where and you say im stealing it suck it. haha

I need to try this after attempting to upgrade my iPhone from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3. My phone has been locked since.

you can downgrade with no problems on a 3g or any non newest gen device.

downgrading fw is not very usefull though, now try the BB lol

if your basebans is 5. someting there is a chance you can downgrade it with fuzzyband but if its 6. like mines is then you are at the mercy of the dev team i hear they are working on a tool based on an exploit be hassin but it seems that they waiting for the os 4 official release to comeout with the tool

will this downgrade your 06.04 bootloader ? if so an unlock can be performed even on bb 5.12.01

I guess we have to wait for new jailbreak for iOS4 hopefully support bb 5.12.01 with boot loader 6.04
