Goodbye Siri?
It seems that in the coming days, The new awaited jailbreak will be released, and I doubt spire will be updated soon. So maybe this is a goodbye to Siri for those who plan to go on ios 5.1.1? It feels sad to me...

Spite does not require tethered!
It just is tethered because there is no untether

i was in a corner and had to upgrade to 5.1, i really dont know why anyone would willingly throw what they have away (given theyre iso5.0) to even think about 5.1.1?

Really? It said no matter what even in 5.0.1 it works only on tethered.

Good bye Spire, hello Spite. They work the same way. Once the untethered is released, Spite will work fine on 5.1.1. No tethered boot required. Tethering is not required for 5.0.1 and Spire also. I have never needed to boot tethered on 5.0.1, with or without Spire. That will be the same when 5.1.1 untethered is released. People only say Spite is tethered now is because there is no untethered available.
To answer your question: we will be saying goodbye to Spire. Not Siri. Spite will work just fine for us. Honestly, I don't think I'll upgrade my iPhone from 5.0.1 until I absolutely have to. If it's not broken, don't fix it!

Siri IS the future......Trust me, it will not go Bye Bye. Spite and Spire much like other Apps, will simply be updated just like everything else. No biggie.

Also 5.1.1 is stable More than any 5.x series in terms of Battery 
hope Spite works better than Original SIRI.

Dude, I installed spite and boot tethered my iPod and it got stuck at the pineapple. I ended up restoring. How did YOU do it.

I install Spite
I booted tethered
I was untethered after on 5.0.1 with no issues
