Keeping iPhone Secure/Protected?

What things can I do to keep my iPhone secure and protected?
Like what Cydia tweaks should I have installed, to prevent someone getting into my phone, deleting stuff, getting my details, etc?

Basically keeping it secure from thieves.

Great thread! I was going to ask this question myself. Say you have a lot of personal info on your phone. Pics, Facebook, bank apps etc and you really REALLY don't want to let your fone get into the wrong hands, is the default passcode Method the best/easiest? I'm sure iv seen threads about bypassing it etc

change your SSH password NEVER leave it as the default and ensure it is not ON when you are not using it.

you can try Firewall IP it helps let you know what is going on.

iprotect is good for passcoding your data related stuff like apps sms and photos that way even is someone uses say geckotoolkit to bypass the passcode (A4 and lower devices) you still have the important stuff on lockdown.

and IcaughtU pro would help if it got stolen that way you get the location and picture of the person/where abouts of the phone is. but as always the more stuff you install the more the battery can and will suffer.

i used to have all those things and more. now i just have ssh password changed and leave the phone very minimal and watch what i do on it like a hawk. and if i am around people i do not trust i add a complex passcode instead of a number code to make it harder to crack into.

just depends on what you want to have on your device. as a whole the device is pretty safe from malware and spying stuff even when jailbroken. so far the only real "worm/virus/malware" has been the ikee worm which is basically just a rickroll and an annoying one at that. but better safe than sorry. so i'd recommend be careful with SSH, and grab firewall IP didnt drain much battery and it works. couple that with a passcode and maybe iprotect and you should be golden
if I helped you find something or I posted something that was/is useful hit the button.

Yeah i really want something like iCaughtU Pro but it only works with a Gmail account, why? I currently use mBox mail for my emails n dont want to switch to the default Mail app, n create a gmail account just to use that tweak.

I personally use the default passcode with Icaughtupro.
And also have findmyiphone from AppStore.

Have iCloud on my pc so I can track it if ever lost.

I used to use iprotect that will lock separate apps rather than just the lock screen.

To add to all of these great options, I would also suggest idiscrete.
It has a Balt that you can store sensitive photos in side the app. It can store pictures, videos, audio and texts inside the app.

The cool feature is you can hide the app behind a regular app so that it does not show on your phone. Add to that you can set a touch sequence so that when some one opens the app you are hiding behind, it just has the spinning wheel and if the correct touch patern is not entered to Cora into the ap that you see and not idiscrete.

I hide all my jailbreak apps and still in it and then hide it behind an app I don't normally use

there is that and there was also a tweak that came out not long ago that had the ability to hide anything you want it to based on activator gestures. really nice idea but MobileSubstrate tweak means reboot + hold volume up toggle = no safety. but that holds true for basically all tweaks. but very few people know about that safety feature which at the same time kind of cripples some security/privacy tweaks on ios. but it is a good feature its saved lots of people time and data by being a great way to fix problems that would normally = restore to fix.
