Icon5 RAR Files, HELP

Hello, All.
I'm new here, So please bear with me, as I am very much a newbie, I 'Jb' my iphone 3gs with 'Absinthe a few days ago, and I've noticed that I have a huge amount of 'RAR' files what are they ? the net does not really explain them, I'd like to get rid of the IF that is possible.
Any suggestions would be MOST appreciated, and whilst on that matter, I have 'OTHER' taking up space 1.53 GB What is it? and can it somehow be deleted?

Regards n Respect.

They are compressed files but if you don't know what they are and want to delete them just slide your finger on the file and a option in read will show and say "delete" just click it.

Then empty the trash to clear it from your phone

click the thanks button!!!

Thanks, BUT, as mentioned, I am a new chap here and ALL this is new to me, YOU say "if you don't know what they are and want to delete them just slide your finger on the file and a option in read will show and say "delete" just click it."
That' all well and good BUT how do I know if these 'RAR' files are not related to an 'App' and the 'RAR' files are just a gigabyte number, It does NOT show the actual file, What do I do? How do I access the individual file> and see if it is revelant?

I realise that I am a pain in the Butt about this, yet it is people like you that have the knowlwdge and courtesy to assist me, For that I am most gtatreful.
Respect
Pete

Don't delete anything if you don't know what it is.

Where are these .rar files located exactly?

And what is the full name of the file ie; icons.rar or whatever?
