URGENT Help PLEASE ! Iphone wont start !

Hello Everyone ! I need some urgent help with my iPhone. It just wont turn on and wont go further than the Apple logo screen

Recently I installed a theme through WinterBoard and resprung the phone and IT worked. ALL was fine. But I reset the netwoek settings, which I do once a day or so, and then it never started. The black page with the white Apple logo keeps loading and when it reaches the Password entering page, it flickers and restarts. Keeps doing this for HOURS and wont start. The only thing I did recently was I navigated into root folders but did not modify or change ANYTHING at all.

Is there a way to "restore" or turn the phone on in Safe Mode ??? OR any other things I could do to fix it ? I need this help as soon as possible, because that phone is the only source of passing time for me. Please help, I will thank everyone.

And it doesnt connect to computer at all. Not iTunes, not iSpirit, not iFunfox, simply nothing !

more info on your phone you have and what firmware you on would be helpful ...do you have shsh blobs stored ?

Well I use 3GS FW 3.1.2 jailbroken with Blackr1ain. And what I did recently was installed a theme with Winterboard. And I dont have that what you asked. Whats that ? Honestly I dont know about shsh blobs.

You need eicd and shsh -blobs to restore your iPhone , if you dont have them youre not abled to restore to a original apple firmware file .Thats because apple stopped signing them to force users to restore always to the actual firmware wich would be 4.0.1 .With these stuff you can edit the ip itunes connects to sauriks sever where are the files that are needed are stored and you would be abled to restore again to 3.1.2 . Thatz about the shsh stuff..


If your phone is not detected on a Pc or Mac , i personally think you have a serious problem .
Usually when itunes not detects a iDevice its enough to uninstall itunes (+ the stuff on c: user/appdata / local and roaming / and everything else you can find from itunes.I had that several times but no prob @ the end.

I dont think it is a usb cable problem or something ,cause you said its not detected since youre rersetted youre network config,abd all the crab started.

Try to put it in dfu mode:

and see if itunes now detects a iDevice..

If its not detected I think sorry to say ,you need to visit a Apple Shop and let these guys take a look @ it ...

Oh Bro thanks so much. But PC wont detect just because phone isnt on. So its not some prob with other stuff like iTunes, but its rather that phone doesnt reach the state where it would get detected.
Unfortunately I dont have the ECID, and that ip with Saurik's servers, how do you get it ?

Well what I did was just installed a theme, and all was fine, but looks like the theme has some probs with Springboard, and when the Password enter screen arrives, it restarts. And I am not able to see anything except the black background and the white Apple logo.

Well Bro, I may want to restore and re-jailbreak but I just dont want to lose my data. Is there a way to restore and not lose stuff like Pictures and others in it ????

Now BIG problem is there are NO apple shops around here..... Well I am currently in Afghanistan without any postal services....

Aint there a way to reset the phone to factory settings from that Logo page ? Like some combination of the buttons would lead to a settings reset before turning the phone completely on ????!

Oh forgot, how do i put it in dfu mode ???? that could help perhaps. Even I think If i could turn it on in Safe Mode that would help too !!!!

And I think it wasnt, network reset that caused it, because I reset the network almost everyday and its fine. Just installing that theme could have caused some conflict with Springboard.

Oh I badly need help, that phone is my only source of passing time ina place like this lol....
