Significant Theft Reported at Steve Jobs' Home

The estate that late Apple chief and tech visionary Steve Jobs called home has been burglarized.

The residence, which is located in Palo Alto, California, was burglarized on July 17. That's according to the official word from Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Tom Flattery.

On Tuesday, the San Jose Mercury News was first to report the break-in, a burglary that is being called random and not specifically targeted at the Steve Jobs estate. More than $60,000 worth of "computers and personal items" were reportedly taken.

"The best we can tell is it was totally random," Flattery revealed, adding that a 35-year old Alameda man named Kariem McFarlin was arrested as a suspect August 2nd in connection to the robbery.

Flattery was tight-lipped about the case, declining to discuss the chain of events that led to McFarlin's arrest. But he revealed that McFarlin was likely unaware of the home's significance.

Just Read about it here. Makes me wonder, wasn't the government themselves robbing the house in the first place? Or did Steve go to their office in spirit and give them the permission to renovate his home?

The funny thing is, the way they tracked the burglar was through iTunes.
Quote:
Reportedly, the alleged thief was caught after he used one of the Apple products to access his personal iTunes account and authorities traced the IP address
Who didn't know fukn Crapple could do this? Just greed for money that's stopping them from implementing it This greed in one way or another will end itself; in accordance to The Law of Cycles.

I think that tracking feature is reserved for high profile searches. They don't want everyone to know that they can watch us breathe. LOL

I saw one person raging about this in a different article, how Apple refused to trace his stolen phone. If you are nobody, nobody cares. If you are Steve Jobs, then all systems are go.
