MyWi Problem

I am not new to jailbreaking but I am having a problem. I had MyWi installed and it worked perfectly. Cydia had a upgrade for it and I did it. It showed a completely new interface and some on demand crap. Anyway, after installing, I hook up my iPad to it via wifi and it show the wifi icon on iPad and shows it is hooked up but I cannot connect anything to the net....What am I doing wrong? Any advice?

Don't know if this is your exact problem but had similar problems with myWi before - after changing to a new version. I changed the channel number and it worked (from 9 to 11 or vica versa, can't remember). Had moved from the original channel for some reason. Also make sure you pick a WEP/WPA pass key and then use the clean up option or respring your phone.

i'm having this same issue. I can connect to the hotspot via wifi, but then I can't get internet access.

Downloaded PDAnet..... cracked from sinful on Cydia....... Works like a dream!!!!! Too much work to get MyWi ready!!!! Easy...just like the old MyWi worked!!!
