IOS 4.1 Custom FW(Hactivated) for iPhone 3GS (old bootrom) built with UltraSn0w

This CFW is built by SnowBreeze 2.0.2 and added with UltraSn0w for Unlock, afc2add for USB connection and also AppSync 4.1 to sync itunes apps plus hactivation handy for unofficial users, tested 100% working on my iphone 3gs old bootrom.

Note:
-If your phone is at 3.1.2 firmware (3gs old bootrom) you need to jailbreak your phone with BlackRa1n RC3 and remember BlackRa1n only compatible with itunes 9.0 and below. When your phone is jailbroken, press Shift+Restore and point to IOS 4.1 Custom Firmware to restore your phone.

-If your phone is at 3.1.3 firmware (jailbreak with Spirit or jailbreakMe ), you need to add source : http://repo.woowiz.net, and install : Spirit2pwn, before you restore FW Custom. Please dont install Spirit2pwn on your 3GS with new bootrom runnning OS 3.1.3, if you do you will brick your phone and result Stuck in DFU Mode.

-If your phone is at IOS 4.0, 4.0.1 jailbroke with jailbreakMe, you need to follow steps to repatch the iboot for your 3GS (old bootrom):
- Download and unzip file spirit2pwn_r3.zip , Pwn_old_boot_3GS.4.0-4.0.1.zip, use ifunbox to copy all files to folder /tmp on your phone (you need to install afc2dd on Cydia to use ifunbox).
Download:
spirit2pwn_r3.zip
Pwn_old_boot_3GS.4.0-4.0.1.zip
ifunbox_en.zip
Install MobileTerminal for IOS 4 for your phone on Cydia. Open MobileTerminal for IOS 4, and type:
su
- Enter password your password: the default password is alpine
cd /tmp
chmod 755 pwn_old_boot_r3.sh
./pwn_old_boot_r3.sh
Reboot your phone, and start restoring Custom FW.

check what ? link is still active, try it again

yes it is active, but the time I wrote when started downloading this download would hang at the start and then suddenly broke. And now few hours later it is downloading 7-9KB/s at my 4MBit broadband connection. Can you please try download it as free user and see if it'll start to download it correctly. Part for 32GB downloaded just fine, but this hangs/brakes.

do you have IDM, if you do it would download faster for you and auto resume to download again until finish if you have problem with your internet connection

16xx error is either bad usb cable, or bad usb port on your pc, try it on your other pc

My old 3gs with old bootrom and 4.28 baseband, can I use this firmware in my windows 7 computer or is this for a mac computer ?, will this preserve my baseband also ?

yes you can restore it on your windows 7 pc, and yes current ultrasn0w work for baseband from 4.28.06 to 5.13.04, and yes it will presevre your baseband still 4.28.06

i am on 3G baseband 05.11.07. all i have to do is restore this CF with the latest itunes and thats it i'm jailbroken already? then run ultrasnow to unlock?

edit im on 3.1.2 blackrained.

yes all you do is restore the custom fw that match with your phone and you dont need to unlock all of these custom fw are UltraSn0w built in for the unlock except one that is for 3gs new bootrom
