contacts and SMS

i have a jailbroken iphone 4s locked to at&t and use a gevey ultra s to use it here in the Philippines. My problem is that when a contact's phone number is stored in 09178526722 format and not +639178526722 the sms app does not recognize who the sender is w/c is such a pain. i tried the caller id fix found in cydia but that didnt work. i have even found other suggestions w/c makes you edit the country plist but that also doesnt work. im really at such a loss. can anyone help?

open your itunes on your pc or mac computer, change the appStore country in the iphone, just go to settings > store > create new account > choose the store > click next > close down settings app, and you're good to go. Doing all that will configure you iphone be set in a different language and or accept/adapt the new country's phone code system.
