Save Springboard Icon Layout?

Is there an app (Cydia) that allows me to save my Springboard icon layout? Because when i try and move an app it messes up my whole layout and it takes ages to sort it out. I have multi-icon mover and either i dont know how to work it or its messed up on my idevice. I had GridLock but uninstalled it, but the icons still have spaces between them, when they're not supposed to.

So basically i would just like an app that could save my icon layout.

Thanks to D3XUS for the sig

How about doing it manually? Save this file IconState.plist from this "/private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard/" directory and copy it back whenever needed.

Really thats the file and i heard com.springboard.plist found in preferences is the file that is responsible for the position of icons on springboard

Ohhh thanks tom21
Just need some clarification
When all my icons are in proper layout, copy the above said file, and when its jumbled up say after safe mode, again copy and overwrite and then respring.
Also is it compatible with other tweaks like folder enhancer, iconoclasm, widgets etc ??
Would appreciate any help.
thanks

Yes, backup that file once you like your layout. I don't no idea about iconoclasm or widgets, but I use folder enhancer so I know it works, well at least on my phone.

Yep i highly recommend that method only as for just saving the layout i'm not gonna install a bunch of tweaks that drain battery

PKGBackup will also save your icon layout, and saves layouts for FolderEnhancer and Dock, too. Don't know about Iconoclasm or Widgets though.

Why not just backup, then restore from backup if needed?

Always works for me.

But cheers for the advice about the .plist Tom21, didnt know that one.

Springtomize has the option to save your icon layouts... Give that a try, In my opinion its probably your best choice plus many more tweaks that it can do...
