Possible way to speed up siri

Ok...we all know that siri uses internet. Whether it be 3g or wifi Siri uses it...Ok if your siri seems slow to answer or keep waiting try changing your dns in your settings on your phone to 8.8.8.8 This will also speed up your internet....

8.8.8.8 is the IP for Google's public DNS. By doing this, your device will use Google's DNS service, rather than your own. It's faster, because well...it's Google

Probably an idea to add Googles secondary DNS in case the primary one fails, use a seperating comma like this....

(Primary, secondary)

8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4

3G/4G still need to go through the Network Carrier's servers. There's an extra step in the chain.

---------- EDIT ----------

BTW - thanks for this tweak. Safari is scary fast now. I'm going to try to see if I can make the same tweaks on all my computers too.

siri :/

I have this issue too, and it can be rough, I will sometimes open up siri and siri will just show that it is thinking rather than do anything. It makes me nuts, and what makes me even crazier is that I pay for hotspot, and yet, even when the hotspot is on, she will still just 'think' blah.
