format and rejailbreak? iphone 3g

hi guys im new to iphones so my iphone is jailbroken by redsn0w
and i want to format it and rejailbreak again coz after i jailbreak
it suddenly getting lag and i install cydia apps like winterboard
and gpSPhone but when i open it its only blackscreen after
5sec it will crash idk why ive install the cydia and cydia apps by
diskaid deb files, so please help me with this guys step by step
help me please i will appreciate it

iphone 3g
version : 4.2.1 (8C148)
carrier : Carrier 9.0
Model : MB489J
Modem Firmware : 06.15.00 (im not sure about this coz "I THINK" before i jailbreak it, it was 5.15 but im not sure)

please guide me step by step and suggestions will be very appreciated.

yes whited00r is the way to go!

if you must have higher apps like 4.2 you can try redd00r

it was still kinda slow for me so i stayed with WD 5.2

You carefully follow the installation instructions on the whited00r website and take your time or you'll just end up running into walls of issues in the future.
