How To Get Back Your Lost iPhone Passcode With Gecko iPhone Toolkit [Video]

What is the first thing you do when you get a new iPhone ?! Well I think the first thing you are going to do is going to settings and setting up a passcode for your iPhone which will protects it from other people to play with it and get into your personal information like messages, contacts numbers, etc.. Thankfully this new and awesome program which called Gecko iPhone toolkit will helps you to get back your lost iPhone passcode without needing to restore your whole device and lose your information, you know the rest of the story.. So right now we are going to show you a little and easy guide that will helps you to get back your passcode, and the program is only available for Windows users.

NOTE: I already tried this way and it truly worked on my iPhone so you can go on and don’t worry.

STEP 1: Connect your iPhone to your PC.

STEP 2: After that launch Gecko iPhone toolkit and choose your iPhone model and then press “Boot”.

STEP 3: Now choose your original firmwares, not your current one !

STEP 4: Now you will have to put your iPhone in DFU mode then wait until it finished then press cancel, here’s how to enter DFU mode:

Hold down power button and home button both at the same time for 10 seconds
After the 10 seconds release the power button and still pressing on the home button for another 10 seconds

STEP 5: Finally you will see a Windows screen appeared and you will find you passcode written at the end of the screen as shown in the image below:

i tried this on my iphone 4 GSM running 5.0.1 and it found the passcode for me. took around 15 mins.

that was the 4 digit passcode. i will give a complex passcode a try later on like a proper word instead of numbers and see how it goes.

Insanely repo has some interesting scripts in their repo .Think there was an beta terminal script to remove the passcode lock .Not sure for what firmware it was, ive never used a passcode and never needed an option to hack my own idevice .Thats why i only read over it and vant give provide more relevant informations about this but had no use for it ..

Try this and follow the steps

1) First and the foremost download this attachment .it is a iPhone browser. After downloading install it.

2) Now connect to itools or ifunbox .

3) Open up the itools or ifunbox software and navigate it to the var folder.

4) Once you get the var folder expand it and go the keychains which is a
sub folder inside var.

5) Now click on keychains folder and delete keychain-2.bd file

6) Once you are done with that reboot the iphone passcode, that’s it.

hello friends. i am just wondering.. does gecko support the 4s ?
i am having problems removing my passcode and have not backed up in a long time =/
i tried i-funbox but can not see most system folders like /var any help would be appreciated

Just a FYI: This method isn't working since i believe IOS 4.2 (or somewhere close to that)

I am unsure of the original firmware, how should I proceed? Any harm in choosing the wrong firmware?

I worked through the problem of firmware choice, but when I try to boot the device I get a pop up box stating:
Unexpected Parameter
App Data\Local\Temp\ramdisks\i4ramdisks.dmg
When I navigate to this file and right click it, the option to extract appears, but a password is needed to do so.
I am trying bypass the passcode on my iPhone 4 that I have lost the passcode for, without having to restore.
I am using Windows Vista
Any help greatly appreciated.
