iPad 3 vs iPad 4

Those of you really pissed cause you just bought a iPad 3 can prolly settle down. A 300 MHz difference, a lightening connector and upgraded FaceTime camera are all that Changed.

And don't forget iPad 3 owners on 5.1.1 are JB.

One thing not really talked about is if the GPU(s) in the A6X is the same GPU(s) in the A5X, or did that get an increase as well? If the GPU's are the same not worth it, if the GPU's were doubled, (well still not worth it, but MORE pissed)

I'm still hesitating getting the ip5 .

Apple claims A6 is twice as fast as A5. Not sure how much faster than A5x. I say its small iprovement.

I noticed that my ipad 2 seemed a little snappier than my friends ipad3. Not sure if it was cause of my tweaks ( deleted damoens and such) or if the retina display is just that much more taxing. I say the speed increase will be small but noticable.

Only thing that matters is

iPad 3 = Untethered Jailbreak Available
iPad 4 = No Jailbreak available, so to me its useless.

You have to wonder what the tipping point will be. Only 6 months means that there are probably folks out there still making payments on their iPad 3. Crapple is a business, so their sole existence is to return value to its shareholders. If they continue to erode their faithful base, more will have to be extracted from those who remain.

I don't have a problem with what they do, just with how it's done. We as consumers have given them way to,much power. JB is my way of leveling the scales.

i was purchased 4 months ago ipad 3 64 gb 3g in 525$ used , know some one offer me 525$ , i think time to change it with ipad 4 .

I got Ipad3 my wife got Ipad2 whith same apps and only on scrolling and sliding you can see a very litle lag on starting a game it takes same time, only thing for me that is negative on Ipad2 is the resolution of the screen and cam, probably same on this new Ipad 4.

I have the iPad3 and iPad2 and for grahpics the iPad3 is slower (though thankfully, rarely!). Even though they doubled the GPU in A5X from A5 they seem to forget they quadruppled the resolution, and there are times the iPad3 is maxed out and can't keep up, (though again, not too often). But that comes back to my worry, is the A6X (the X part) the same X as the A5X (basically quad-GPU) or is it something better, (higher clock, more cores, etc). Really the only nagging thing for me on the iPad3 is that my iPad2 seems faster at times, so if that was fixed it would be nice, (mind you, NOT $499 nice!)

WTF.. from the picture posted... not much change at all.

Here what I see 3 changed so far...
Processor : A5 >>> A6
Front camera : 0.3Mp >>> 1.3MP
Charger: 30 pins >>> lightening

AND... These change added 2gram to ipad 4 (650 ... 652)

Tim Cook is fucking stupid to allow this release at Ipad 4... maybe Ipad 3s is at least sound better.

ipad3 had graphics lag due to retina screen so the A6X is meant to fix that
