Droids can have all their fancy "features" (same ones we have anyways)...but the difference is iOS can actually handle these apps/features, whereas a droid has trouble doing so...even when powered with hardcore specs. After listening to only 1 minute of this fool, I can already tell it would be a waste to listen to the other 16mins. Once droids figure out how to get a dual/quad core CPU w/ 1GB RAM not to lag like an old crackwhore doing basic functions, they they can revisit the idea of considering droid as a viable option for "worlds most advanced OS".
I'd rather have the speed and reliability from iOS.

My problem with droid is the following
1. all the fancy tricks such as 3D screens, moving wall paper all just drain the Battery faster so you end up turning them off.
2.Build quality of practically all droid phones is cheap looking compared to the 4s
3. lets not forget the fragmented deployment of there updates.
iPhone is not perfect by any means but for now i prefer it over droid.

The new ICS is the shit hell the older recent versions would still have ios6 wipIng it's ass. What matters now is how the iPhone 5's hardware uses it! Anroid makes the most out of the little stupid things, sounds, interaction via motion wallpapers, you can set gifs as wallpapers, panorama ones at that, and now you can play a video in a smaller window overlapping (in a background like manner) over other apps as you proceed....it's just a promising software like that which keeps giving to its customers and keeps cydia devs on their feet to help us out.

I agree with the video to a certain extent
Im a formal Android user: switching from an iphone 3g > Samsung Galaxy > and now back to iphone 4s. Both of the OS are amazing in their own way and have basically the same things to offer but in different packaging. Android was no where as smooth as my 4s, ive even played with my friends newer androids Note/Galaxy 2 & the HTC one and i feel the quality in my 4s..When it comes to integration Android has really got it on lock with multiple things rather than just twitter & facebook which took forever for Apple sadly.. & android does have many great features too when it comes to integration/Customization/Modded Roms etc /tweaks
But what matters is that in the jailbroken community we have kept ourselves up to date with the features we need.. we have Activator (brilliant old app) / Fusion for Fb/twitter / and who cares if you have to open the app to upload a picture on facebook, i dont mind wasting a few extra seconds.. I dont think that apple has fallen behind...I do think they can do MUCH better & IOs 6 could have been a masterpiece but coulda, wuda, suda
i still love iphone and android

Take away any future jailbreak and see who would stay with iPhone. You would see Android blowout Apple

A lot of people say this...but in reality, Apple would still be right up there with droids. The jailbreak community is a small percentage of overall iPhone users, even to this day. Personally, I would be on the fence if such a day came. I would only make the switch to shitty droid if absolutely necessary.
Either way, we will never see the end of jailbreaking. A jailbreak will always be possible, no matter what Apple attempts to do. So, we won't have to worry about making that decision anyway

Be that as it may, I think we can safely say IOS has been playing catch-up with Android the last 3 years, not the other way around.
If anything it could be argued that Android has been the innovator in the category. Apple just re-washes it and makes it look cleaner.

Except droids are the ones that copied the iPhone and iOS, then just adds a spin to it. While Apple has definitely been playing catch-up (their own fault, since they hold features back to hype up the next models), iOS is the obvious winner when it comes to speed and reliability. To me, those 2 things are the only things that matter. The only reason why droids have higher specs is due to the piss poor optimization the OS has...and yet, they still have trouble handling it. The 4S has 512mb RAM and dual core and still stays on par with the latest droids, most times surpassing them in real-world environments.
When I look at a phone, I don't base my decision on the features the OS brings to the table. I base my decision on the overall speed of the device and the reliability of the device. Features mean nothing if the actual device can barely handle them the correct way or if it bogs down the device just to do so.

Then you are way, way off. My family works in Sprint so I get to try out (and sometimes keep) all the newest phones. iOS is nowhere near the speed it claims to have. I've compared the 4S to my galaxy SII in loading native apps and I couldn't believe how long it took. The only thing iOS has going for it is the reliability part and in even that dept. android is making a huge leap. Itunes is fucking crap and who the hell uses stocks, newstand, etc....? I got a free 4S but returned it for my SII which frankly the hell out of any iOS so far. (APPLE take note).
Of course, I could just be a little biased against Apple since their customer support has given me nothing but frustration and a bald head.

The funny thing is this:
Samsung released the GSII, the iPhone 4S has a 2x speed advantage (graphics wise)
Samsung releases the GSIII, the iPhone 4S STILL has a 2x speed advantage.
Seems like moving from a Mali 400 to an Adreno 225 had no effect at all.
Android runs on a 15 year old runtime emulator engine (albeit faster than the older revisions) yet it is no where as close to the emulation speed Apple's LLVM runtime engine offers. Ratio?

I looked at the new SGS3 yetserday alongside the 4S and its as smooth as the 4S and seems faster when opening say Angry birds . The webside is nice no fucking red crosses like ios . But it has a very plastic feel about it. Ill wait for the 5 to come out. One thing I would say that the geeks like droid cos you can customise it far easier than ios and it does more with out the need of jailbreaks etc.

Reminds me of the old Palm OS.
Palm stuck with the reliable, speedy, light PalmOS, trading functionality like real/true multitasking for it, leaving it for Windows Mobile to do the fancy stuff. They slowly added stuff, like color themes, and others. Then they got more behind, etc.
webOS was great, but the execution was botched.
Fun opinion of mine: PalmOS arguably has similar multitasking capabilities to iOS.
I admire iOS for its stability (even though Safari and a few others have their bugs) and speed, but I really hope Apple will truly impress me and add more functionality beyond uber-minor touches. Tweaks and minor additions are always nice, but iOS is no longer "years ahead" now.
They're doing fine for now, but still, they need something big-ish on the software side soon. Something to surpass the rest, not just catching up and labeling it as innovation.
Their terrific marketing may have gotten them very far, but it won't last forever.

Give an iphone to a jailbreaker and he'll make it do wonders!
The jailbreaking community gives the iphone & iOS the potential and capabilities to do much more than it was originally designed for.
