changing from iOS8 to iOS9

Hi ..... i have iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1.2 ..... is it possible to change it to iOS9 and still jailbreak it ???....... i dont wanna lose my JB i have so much awsome stuff ......... and yet lots of apps upgraded with iOS9 cannot run them

hang on to your cool stuff for now and upgrade when the next JB appears, it might be for ios10.3.3 (possibly last ios10 firmware) or ios11 JB

i have the same question - jb for ios902 is working now...
but i cant update my ios from 8.1 to 9.02 - itunes always says.
iphone ios 8.1 - DFU mode - itunes 12.6.22
#declined to authorize this image on this device for this user

You can only update to the latest fw Apple is signing

Which is ios 11.0.3 at the moment

Is there any chance to override this?

I am running 8.4.1 on my ipad 4, as on 10.x no untethered jailbreak available for 32bit on 10.x

Direct upgrade to 9.1.3 would be nice.

from what i can see the only version signed for the ipad 4 is 10.3.3, so that is all you can update too.

i know it was possible to save shsh2 blobs and restore using future restore but that was for select devices and you needed to have saved the blobs when ios9 was being signed.

i guess your stuck where you are...
