iPhone 5 Jailbroken
It looks like Grant Paul, aka Chpwn, is in possession of a jailbroken iPhone 5.
Assuming he isn’t just pulling our leg, we can’t really say much more, other than the fact that he posted a screenshot of Cydia running on the iPhone 5 a few moments ago. More details of the exciting news inside…

This is awesome news, for this to 1). Come from a respected jailbreak dev, and 2). For it to come on the same day of the iPhone 5 release. It also means that there is hope for jailbreaking A5X devices on iOS 6 as well.
Also, I should mention, that if you’re running iOS 6 on an older A4 device, you can already jailbreak now.

Annoying that they flaunt this shit infront of us really! Cause it always uses a dev account and copyrighted code meaning it aint gona be public any time soon! Still tho, its progress

It's called "patience". Would you rather have a 100% working JB or a half-a** copy? I'm sure the majority are fine with waiting and having it 100% workable....

Isn't it the other way around?
The majority are whining little douche bags that don't have any patience. 15% of idiots already upgraded to iOS 6. Give it a month or two then it will probably be 75% of people upgraded to iOS 6. After that you will see them spamming forums for a jailbreak.

You are missing the topic, it is the IPhone5 we are talking about so nobody has to upgrade to io6 they are already on it. And i'm one of the 15% of idiots who have upgraded to io6 on an older device, and jailbroken, and I am very happy with it.

Not the first time this has been said, BUT if donating can get a JB pushed out sooner rather than later, why not? I can't imagine my 4S (or any of my previous iPhone's) w/o a JB. I know this is the 5, but I hope this is a sign that the 4 & 4S JB's may come sooner this time.

Looks like iPhone 4/4S with the added icon row tweak via cydia.
Funny, he doesnt show it on 4G LTE. He just shows it on his wifi connection. WHich is kinda odd, because 4G LTE would be a sure way of showing its an iPhone5 (or good photoshop, LMAO).
Anyways, IMO im calling BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!, until farther proof.

My comment was referring to A4. A4 devices are tethered, not untethered. People will surely post new topics asking for the release date of the untethered or how to untether it.
Even though the iPhone 5 is pre-installed with iOS 6 people are still going to whine about there not being an untether.
