Who Remembers How Crazy the REAL ECW Was in the 90's.

Cable access in NYC. Anyone else remember? It made WWF & WCW look like play school.

So many great character and hardcore wrestlers came out of this circuit. Not just polished, pumped up sides of beef like the WWF offered.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, RVD, Taz, Mankind, Dudley Boyz, Sabboo, Raven ... all were pilfered from the ECW.

If they could have gotten national TV distribution and better writers, they would have put WCW under and possibly began challenging WWF for supremacy.

JK... I posted this once before but this makes me laugh so I had to post it again. This game is called Skyrim for the PC and you can mod stuff sort of how you do with Winterboard on iOS. I guess this is the beginning of the game but with a modded version of the dragon. I don't play video games but this Skyrim mod almost makes me want to start.

Seriously though, I only watched wresting back in the 80's when WWF was on like...Saturday Night's Main Event etc. Honestly, I never really watched ECW, WCW/NWO or whateva it was called but those ECW guys in the video clip were crazy. It reminds me of some of the underground backyard wrestling you can find on the net.

I was a WWF guy as well...never really got into ECW, don't know why. I was all into wrestling as a kid...went to dozens of events, got autographs, etc...but then 1 day I realized it was all fake and stopped watching it altogether. Nowadays, I just can't understand how people can still watch wrestling. I'll come across it every now and then when flipping channels and it is honestly horrible. My ex was a hardcore WWF fan (and still is to this day) and I just couldn't stand to listen to her go on about it all the time

UFC all the way...although, even UFC is getting a bit ridiculous sometimes.

The days dreams are made of, RVD and jerry Lynn had some great matches..
Sabu, tommy dreamer the dudly boys(original) like when they first came into wwf..
And god dam, I knew it was fake but mma back then was Royce Gracie and laying on his back beating everyone up where ECW and the wwf hardcore devision bought excitement ... Trash cans, barbed wire, tacks ,miss filets little boy and even the kitchen sink ..
But ECW was just hardcore like raven, Steven Richards, mikey whipwreck, sabu and you have to talk about mick foley, mankind, cactus jack, dude love..
And terry funk...the list goes on
