Upgradding unlocked 3GS (on bb 6.15) to iOS 5.0.1

Hey guys I've been having major issues trying to upgrade a 3GS from 4.1 on a 6.15 bb to iOS 5.0.1 I've literally search and tried ALL the steps I can think of and I feel as a last resort hopefully someone here can help me.

I followed the whole process of creating a custom fw with Redn0w 0.9.10b1 then entering it to pwn dfu mode to restore in itunes (the latest version) and got errors 1600, then 3194, etc..

I tried doing the same steps with Snowbreeze and restored with iTunes and got the same error but kept trying for about 3 hours until eventually it DID work and the phone was working and all, then..... RELAPSED back into needing a redsnow reboot which I did and now the same issues ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.
I'm starting to feel like this phone is possessed

First downgrade ur baseband using latest redsnow to 5.13.04 and then upgrade to 5.1.1

how exactly can i successfully downgrade my baseband?

and everything I try now it just shows a blank white screen...

I hope nothing is fried

the latest redsnow will have the option to downgrade baseband

you may have to restore to 5.1.1 first if your device is not working

If u have shsh then restore to older firmware and using redsnow 09.14b2 downgrade baseband in jailbreak option
Once its downgraded upgrade with a custom firmware to 5.1.1 with preservec baseband
