Opinions?

I want iRealSMS or BiteSMS, I don't know which one is better so in your opinion of those who have them which is better?

Definitely need to post my full opinion on this

BiteSMS has completely replaced my usage of the stock messaging app

It allows for:
Delays - the thing that has saved me from sending the stupidest texts ever multiple times
Emoticons - these are cute and make texting more fun
Retry on failure - For places where service is garbage like 40% of my city
Quick replies - a very nice feature so you dont leave apps
Quick compose - single greatest feature yet esspecially if you mess around with activator

BiteSMS does have a gross icon that can be replaced using cydia/winterboard
I suggest biteSMS to Green SMS icon

Also in getting biteSMS I strongly suggest getting group send for mass texts

All in all biteSMS is just fantastic!

In BiteSMS where do you get the emoticons? I don't have those in the version I have.

I know it works in version 5.5

Press the little settings button (looks like a gear) and scroll down until you see smileys, make sure its turned off

Also make sure Libactivator is on so you can use activator to change quick compose up

Edit: this work mentioning, you also have signatures which is nice, it records that amount of texts which you can set for your plan, and it can sync with other apps (suck as textfreak) for those who are ipod users!

I use activator so thats why the quick compose never worked. Ill try Libactivator. And Ill turn smileys of to.

Yes, quickcompose WILL NOT WORK without Libactivator switched on

Okay also how do you open up the smiley menu? To see a list of them.

To send a smiley to press the + next to the text box, to enable it scroll thrrough the settings and you will find Smileys

There is + next to the text box? And I enabled the smileys in the settings menu.

ummm, its in the place of where the stock app would have the little picture icon, through that you can insert smileys/pictures

Do you mind posting a picture to help me out with that? Because I don't have anything like that. Didn't even know you could insert pictures!

Nevermind again, I figured it out. my MMS wasn't enabled.

Bitesms is definitely worth the purchase. One of the few must haves along with ifile IMO.
