Hi Guys,
I'm currently running 4.0.1 fw on ATT and have had no major problems in the past what so ever. I have not upgraded past that fw since it came out because of that and have been pretty happy with everything having to do with my iphone so far. Lately though I have had a few issues with cydia preventing me from doing much with it, so i think a restore is in need. I have the shsh saved through cydia for my fw. I was just wondering if there were a few general suggestions anybody could give me before i do a restore. What sorta things should i keep in mind before doing so? Is there a particular method that might be better for what i have in mind than another? Is there any certain way of going about a jb afterwards that you could suggest i use? I have had some good luck using jailbreakme.com in the past for friends, but i haven't really kept up too much lately so maybe there are some things that may have changed in the past few months having to do with that that i'm not aware of that might be helpful to know?
I just thought i'd post and see what the community here has to say before i go through with it. Hopefully i'm not forgetting anything.
