iPhone 5 Battery Drain Issue

Didn't see a post for this already.

if your iPhone 5 battery is draining about 1% every 4-5 minutes: i.e. 40% in 3 hours then you need to "Restore" the iPhone in iTunes and "Set up as a new iPhone" instead of "Restoring from Backup."

No issue I have 6 hrs of video time and 2 hrs of web time. Did you let your battery die out 1st before fulling changing it? I have everything on except Stocks Widget and you see I dont have any issue. If it die that fast take it back.

First time outside and it was good for the first 15 min. Then it started to act like my old 4s , So I'm hoping it'll get better over time

I dont have any problems with this. My phone stays at 100% for about an hour after unplugging and with heavy internet and texting. Phone lasts all day with regular usage

Sorry to hear that, I know how frustrating it is!

I'm not in an area with LTE. Wonder if that's affecting your battery also? Either way, sounds like you might want to exchange it.

Where you playing video games? Thats the only thing I can think of that will drain the battery that fast. I got over 6 hrs of netflix and hulu and 23 hours of stand by. But when I was playing Wild Blood on it I could tell the battery was going out fast, but thats normal when playing games.

If not return that mofo!

I never expect cell phones or laptops to have great battery life.. its just they way it is now with current battery tech... each generation get slightly better but its never the big jump we all want.. getting a good battery case is a must have for any hard core user
