Cydia app and tweak descriptions?

I was just wondering if cydia wasn't loading the descriptions for apps and stuff for other people on ios 6 or if it was just my iphone...and it would be nice to know if anyone knows how to fix it, and yes i know its beta fw and yes i know this isnt an official cydia release

The description is just the short summary that is under the package name when browsing Cydia. You probably mean the depiction page.

Depiction pages are just webpages hosted on a server. Generally the same server as the repository. They show informaton, screenshots, download stats, etc. When the debian is packaged, the URL to the webpage is added to the control file. It actually has very little to do with Cydia. When the package is selected, Cydia just loads the URL thats in the control file. If this URL is left out, then only the basic information is presented.

The question is, is the whole description page blank? Are the packages still loading and Cydia still refreshing with out errors? If you are still seeing the basic information (Name, Author, Version, etc) then the problem is with the server the depiction page is hosted on.

Please explain more about the problem? Maybe post a screenshot.

Although, 99% of Cydia problems are just a problem with the repository and not actually Cydia itself.

i can still see the basic info just fine, its the important stuff like what the app does thats not loading , the fact that its happening with all of the repos with all of the packages, even the cydia store stuff, there is a very thin colored line that appears right under the author section where the other stuff should be that leads me to believe its cydia

It might just be that altered version of Cydia. I was only on iOS 6 for a short time and never loaded that version of Cydia on. There is a post around here that lists all the packages that work with iOS 6. Just follow that and you shouldnt have any problems. If you want to know more about a specific package, just Google it and I'm sure tons of information will pop up.

Also, searching the BigBoss site for a package will help. They link you to the actual depiction page that Cydia loads when you select that package.

Cydia is a Apple's iOS application which is capable to search and install software package. Tweaks are small modification Intention to increase system. Using Cydia Tweaks we can easily switch between apps by swiping the display.
