Icon4 All Tweaks & apps stopped working

I updated my iPhone 4 to 5.1.1 and then jailbroke with Absynthe 2.0.4 and all worked fine until I rebooted today and when it restarted it looked like it wasn't jailbroken anymore.

All cydia tweaks stopped working...SBS settings didn't work....no cydia apps showed in settings anymore & all cydia apps did nothing when clicked on.

I stupidly reset settings on iPhone cause it said NO DATA WILL BE AFFECTED OR LOST but as it started back up it asked if I wanted to set up as new phone or restore from iTunes backup and it wont just start now unless I choose one but I don't want to erase anything.

According to iTools, all my data is still there. Can I make a backup with iTools? How?
Absynthe also says I am jailbroken so what happened? How do I save my data & fix this?

Any help would be awesome.

Hmm someone else is going to have to answer that. If you can find the .deb file for download around her you could try removing it manually the installing that deb file via funbox

Since you have already erased your data. You might as well set up as a new device then rejailbreak install all the tweaks you want the restore with your back up as long as all your data was saved should not have any issues.

This is what I would probably do unless someone else has a better idea.

Check your settings, make sure you didn't auto update to the latest.

Hey. Buddy this happened to my g.f's iPhone 4. Sometimes when you reboot it boots back tethered for some reason. So just reboot again and you should be fine. I've found this out cause I had a fake carrier name on my g.fs phone and when you reboot it it changed back to the original carrier. All the tweaks didn't work until I rebooted the phone again and all the tweaks worked again. This happens ever now and then on the iPhone 4 for some reason. Maybe the rocky raccoon was really made for the iPhone 4s cause that doesn't happen on my phone. I hope you didn't go through the trouble of restoring your device cause that is some what of a mission

Sorry for delayed response.
I did not erase my iphone 4....I reset settings but it thinks I erased it.

I never had it tethered before....why would it do this?
My stuff is still on my iphone because I set my alarm before this happened and it went off but I couldn't access it since its still asking me to restore or setup as new iphone so I just shut it off to stop alarm.

If I choose setup as new, will it try & erase or will it keep everything & let me access phone?

---------- EDIT ----------

Ok I setup as new and all data still intact....but now how do I make jailbreak stuff work again & will it do this everytime I reboot?

It's not gonna happen everytime you reboot but when it does happen just reboot your phone again and all your tweaks should continue working again. This happens to my g.f 1 time out of like every 4 reboots.

I know it's a tone of hassle, I've been there. A simple fix would be to restore and jailbreak again. Install each tweak/app but make sure that they are compatible and do some research if some do not say if they are or not.

Well I can't jailbreak since it says I'm already jailbroken... So I'd have to erase phone & jailbreak then restore again I guess.
I'm just wondering if this will happen again if I reboot next time?

Maybe you removed the jailbreak some how? Back up your phOne on computer with iTunes. Go to settings/general/reset/erase all content in iPhone. This is a quicker way to restore.

After that rejailbreak. And if ur tweaks ever stop working all of the sudden. Then just reboot and they should come back. Then you should be good.

Have you used redsn0w and tryed to rejailbreak that way? Or do a just boot tethered option? That may possibly work.. I'm not sure

-iPhone 5 16gb GSM 6.1.2 Untethered with Evasi0n-
