Someone with an iP4 on ios6 beta who is using the new jailbreak should just upload the new UI images/shared@2x.artwork files etc. Then we could all try them on older firmwares. That is of course if those files are accessible with the limited dev JB version that was released.

From what I know, you won't have any application or theme installed. In fact, you won't even have cydia, even if you jailbreak your iDevice on ios 6.

My opinion after using ios6... I need to tell you that i am an iPhone 4 non-developer user and so I can't use Siri yet on my iPhone. I can't even use the 3D maps. 2 of the most fun features from this ios. I heard that 3D maps got hacked to run on iPhone 4 but i don't want to mess up my iPhone.

I'm really really disapointed. For iPhone 4 users, atm there is almost nothing to do or try with the new ios6.

Ah thought so, well if it cant be jailbroken i def wont be upgrading. I also agree with you 100%, for the iphone 4 users there doesnt really seem to be much for us to make us want to update, i dnt have siri and defo dont use maps!! Hopefully they add more onto this update, quite disapointed with it at the moment

As an iPhone 4 user who went through iOS 5 betas and now the iOS 6 beta, the OS does not feel as smooth as it should be, maps is useless in Australia, App Store redesign lags (however i do like the new design), iMessage settings crash, unexplained data usages for no reason, passbook is useless, siri not there, etc

There is no point IMO to update your iPhone 4 to iOS 6. It decreases your battery life significantly, and half the features are basically not compatible.

actually you can have cydia, I have it installed along with winterboard, and a few other tweaks, don't know if there is any themes available that will work with winterboard yet, but if you search the forum there is a post on how to install cydia and has a list of working cydia tweaks you can install. Also installous installs also so you will have apsync for your cracked ipa's.

First up, thanks for the tip on how to upgrade without a developer account, this is why I love sinfuliphone, very much educational!

Alright, so the first thing that I liked were the UI changes, Music, Appstore, Status bar, Phone and so on, an eye refresher if you will. All this hype about maps does not apply to me since I'm not from the US and our place was NOT yet even on the map. Damn! But, 3D effect was good if you are from those places. I know Apple is still updating this and I expect it would cover almost all places like Google Maps did.

Not that much of a difference from iOS 5 all in all, but one thing that I liked was Facebook integration, yeah I'm an avid Facebook user. Also, I pretty much enjoyed using Siri, a lot of improvements were made and the sports tracker addition was awesome. Movie addons were great plus the Post and Tweet combo were also cool, not to forget the ability to open apps within Siri. Being able to set your own music in Alarm was also good.

There were some bugs that I encountered since this is a beta release, which includes, Facetime setting cannot be opened, iMessages addresses cannot be accessed as well, disappearing assistive touch and some lag on installation of apps through Appstore, this gave me a headache when I tried to install an app and it froze on me during installation. Boo!. It's also weird sometimes that the brightness of the phone cannot be controlled and it seems that auto-brightness has a bug in it. Auto lock also takes while to kick in sometimes even if I just set it to a minute.

A lot of changes in Settings, haven't tried Facetime over 3g yet. Oh, and the 3g button was also removed, again. Network was replaced to Cellular. New additions like Do not disturb and Privacy were also nice.

The UI was still fluid as ever and I can say this OS can be better in time, I mean, its still 4 months to the final release and a lot of things can still be added and omitted. So, in conclusion, I still liked the new iOS, it was good but not great. But hey we haven't still seen the official release yet so I'm just gonna enjoy the new stuff for now.
Uh...

I don't understand why apple tries so hard to get rid of jailbreaking. The jailbreaking community has made apple a ridiculous amount of money. Personally one of the main reasons i even own an iPhone is because i have other jailbroken devices. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has bought an iDevice because of all the additional features you can get by jailbreaking a great phone.

People can complain all they want about how we crack apps and take money away from developers blah blah. Apple has copied tons of jailbreak tweaks and implemented it into their new IOS's which make them a shit-ton of money. Not to mention that they hire jailbreak developers to design new tweaks for them.

All I'm saying is that if jailbreaking wasn't around apple would obviously still be successful, but I guarantee not nearly as successful as they are with jailbreaking around.
