 mediafire downloads error

mediafire downloads error

everytime I try to download any file from mediafire on my iphone I get a screen advising that the file will be saved on "var/mobile/library/downloads" folder but when I click on the download link I always receive an error

any help to solve this?

I recommend you don't download anything at all from you iPhone's Safari web browser. I could never get it work myself when I tried to download anything from the ios Safari web browser. I suggest you just download the file from your desktop pc or laptop, then SSH the file into root. Download & install ifile from cydia. Open ifile, search & select the file you just put on the root folder, tap on it & select install.

Are you using Safari Download Enabler?
Deleted an Apple stock app? Don't restore just yet, download dat app brah!

I used to have this problem, find whatever mediafire file u want, when you get given the FIRST option to download on the mediafire screen keep your finger on download, this will bring up the option of where u want to download it, there u go.

Safari Download Enabler is a Cydia tweak, so if you don't know if you're using it, then you're not using it I would give it a try, I haven't had any issues using it so far, including downloads from Mediafire, but see if Nhojjohns's suggestion works first
