just a friendly heads up to all you guys running an iphone 3g that redd00r is out. ive personally been testing the **** out of it and it runs really fast.
head across to the whited00r forum and check it out.
be aware its still in beta but early signs look very promising.ive made a few alterations to the original guide posted on one of my iphones. im testing a few diffrent ideas and will report back with which is fastest

ok so been running a few days and al seems great. the pre jailbreak version of os4.1 isnt as quick as my 4.2.1 with usual mods. just a note tho make sure you dont use multi tasking (either option) or wall papers (either option) then its really quick !!
after a few trials with various methods the fastest solution for me appears to be
4.2.1 sn0wbreeze with no multi tasking or wallpapers enabled. enable battery percentage if you wish. a healthy 1gb partition, useful if you have the space.
redd00r on top of this with no multi tasking or wallpapers.
once set up enter ch4os util and disable the update on setting app launch and on boot option as well. this means you will have to manually have to search for updates but it makes loading the settings app much quicker.
once you done all this you can add other scrips as you wish. ive already applied language pack deleter and removed a few other launch daemons etc etc. if you want to apply these look for the thread (not mine) its really useful and all works on top of redd00r
redd00r was from the outset always going to be slower than whited00r that kinda goes without saying. redd00r is for people who want ios4 apps with a healthy speed boost compared to stock ios4 from apple.
