the sky go update went through overnight, it wont now work even if not jb unless you update to ver 2.2, that adds anytime+ content from sky1,living.atlantic.arts

xcon developer has said hell patch it, hes said hi to sky already today here
so looks promising for a quick fix from him

Thanks for the update. Same problem for me here. On iphonre 4 - 5.1.1 with xCon and xCon alias

I Just found an update for xCon, xCon 37 -beta. But Sky go still won't stream.

Any ideas?

Have seen this temp fix that works,

Delete app, reboot, sync earlier version 2.1.5 from iTunes
Open app, get update app info
Close and kill the app
Use sbsettings, more, app folders,
Note the first few digits of the app folder name
Open ifile, var/mobile/applications
Find app folder digits
Open skygo.app
Edit info.plist version number from 2.1.5 to 2.2.0

A fix until xcon is updated

Also you can still watch sky sports 1-4, News and f1 through watch live on the sky sports app

This has worked! Could only find xCon 37-beta2 in repos so installed that

I'm waiting for this update too, just to use what I pay for??? Wtf sky.
Is there a way of getting it all free without a sky subscription or something?

Just a note if you go to file manager option in ifile ther is an option in there to turn application name on.. Meaning that u don't need to use sh setting to find app name....

I'll see if I can get sky go working through the option above, but hope xcon can crack this one! Cheers

If jailbreaking was illegal I could understand it, but what the fuck it's got to do with Sky where I watch something i'm paying £88 a month for is beyond me, they are just legalised muggers. £88 a month for repeat after repeat after repeat, the only reason I stick with them is cos we are not in a cable area and our freeview channels are shit.

To be fair sky are better than virgin IMO , but this is all a waste of time . Sky offer sky go to non sky subscribers so don't want people using a cydia app like mirror out from iPad to tv but Iv'e not tried but what's to stop them doing it from their laptops to tv ?
