Was trying to avoid that, but the main reason I didn't want to keep a siri port installed is because it was crashing my mail app... So I thought I'd just try to fix that, and I figured out it was "AttachmentSaver" that was causing it to crash when a siri port is installed. So it's all good now, dictation works, siri works, mail works!! Just don't use AttachmentSaver if you use a siri port, and PRESTO!

I had same problem - losing dictation after removing Siri.
I did a reinstall
Are you saying you didnt reinstall and just removed "Attachment Saver", or you reinstalled but did not apply "Attachment Saver" afterwards?
*I didnt install "Attachement Saver"

i already had attachmentsaver installed from the beginning... then when i installed the siri port, my mail and youtube started crashing so i uninstalled the siri port, and then my dictation was gone... i couldn't find a fix other than restoring so i reinstalled the siri port, and then uninstalled attachment saver and now the mail and youtube apps dont crash so i kept using the full siri port...
