HELP!!!!! Tried to restore to CF but 3GS did not respond

Hi guys, I have made a custom CF which is 3.1.3 for my 3GS of a new bootrom.

However when I tried to restore, iTunes just keep saying "Preparing iPhone for restore", but my iPhone screen just shows Connect to iTunes.

May I know what have gone wrong?

are you sure you have 3.1.3 blobs ???

Yes you do unless you are installing 4.1

On a 3G you don't need blobs I'm no sure about the 3GS though

On OLD BOOTROM devices NO MATTER IF IT IS AN IPHONE 3G OR 3GS are no SHSH blobs needed.

THis startet all with the 3GS NEW BOOTROM generation that people had to store the shsh blobs.

On the 3GS with new bootrom you need to have shsh blobs .The 3GS cam out with firmware 3.0

3.1.3 was later released and so has already shsh blobs on it.
