Iphone 4 5.1.1 notifications problem !!!

hi,
I recently updated my iphone 4 from 4.2.1 to 5.1.1 ...after updating it i got this problem that i am not getting any notifications from any apps. for eg whatsapp or viber or even my mail.
I have to open whatsapp for me to check if i got new notification or not.
I dint had this problem when i was on 4.2.1
And yes my iphone is jailbroken and its factory unlocked !!
So please help me out i have no clue what to do !

Open settings app and go to Notifications. Find the app in question and set up the notification type you want.

I had the same problem but was after i installed reveal, no notifications, uninstalled and still none, in notifications are where enabled, I had todo a fresh install ios to get fixed.
