Installous 5 troubles

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere or if this isn't the right place to be talking about Installous.

When using Installous 5, I can download the IPAs but it crashes as soon as it starts attempting to install them. I've followed the few guides I have found (uninstall Installous, uninstall AppSync, Sync with iTunes, re-install AppSync and Installous and sync with iTunes again) but I still have the same problem.

I'm using an old iPhone 3GS and I'm afraid that might be the problem.

Anyone else run into this or have any other suggestions for what I can try in addition to the above?

I never liked using Installous. I prefer getting the apps from here and installing with iTools.
