Hello sinful members. Im looking to see if anyone has gone or goes to ITT Tech school. I am looking to get into IT and networking and liked this school because it's available at night and seems pretty structured. Can anyone help me with Pros and Cons?
Oh yeah and a little about myself i love tech stuff and figuring out how stuff works. I'm a McDonalds manager and make about 45k a year.
Thanks in advance for your input.

You need to do some research first. An associate degree costs $57,000 at ITT and most real employers do not even recognize their crummy degrees. Google ITT Technical Institute, investigations, lawsuits. Go to myittexperiencedotcomcom to check out actual ITT students' experiences. IF you did happen to graduate from ITT you would be deep in debt with student loans and most likely only able to get a minimum wage job if you could find a job at all.
Do some homework on FOR-PROFIT College's business models. They are ALL rip-offs.

This school offers free training and provides lifetime job placement. All that is required is that you have a highschool diploma and a desire to learn...
as others have said, save your $$$
if you like tech as much as you say, just start at a community college (they also offer night classes) and transfer to a four year. you will spend less and the degree is actually recognized.
that is just my .02c

Start by reading a lot about security, exploits, development of apps in coding and scripting, these is where the real money is at. U don't even have to have a degree as long as you have te knowledge, they will look up
I was interestd in ITT tech when I first got out of the Navy. I went to visit the campus in Jacksonville, Florida. I got turned off by the cost of the school and the fact that the staff were acting like used car salesman.
ITT is owned by PRIVATE INVESTORS. They are only interested in making money. YOU can get a B.S. a lot cheaper.

I just want to see there faces when I ask about percentages and tell them I want to speak with the human recourses department of the companies they claim hire there students.
I'm glad I asked here before I went through with it. Community college it is

You will see what I am talking about. They all act like salesmen.
Sorry for the late response guys but been super busy with work. Went into the financial aid appointment and it was a blast. I asked the financial aid director tons of questions that she had to bring in the Dean and a recruiter. They had the hardes time answering them. The best one was what would happen if I can only make it to one class a week. They told me " As long as you can pass the test we will credit you the hours." I think that is what did it for me. They are only in it for the money and do not care about your education. I asked about the instructors credentials and they said that all instructors work in the field they teach and have been trained by itt tech. So I said ok no thanks.
