Getting tired of this battle bullshit... From a customer's perspective, we will choose a device that will suit our needs the most and has the best cutting edge and topnotch technology built into it. Having that said, companies need to focus on their actual quality of the device not the patent shit... but who listens to customers anyway

It will be interesting how far this actually goes, considering that Apple recently bought 4 hundred odd LTE related patents. Seems like Samsung is throwing the toys out of the pram AGAIN. Someone should remind Samsung they didn't discover/invent LTE on their own.

It doesnt matter if the new iPhone is 4G LTE or not. Its still going to be a POS and well behind other phones on the market. Maybe next year Apple, maybe next year.

I'm confused as to how a company like Samsung & Apple can own the patents to 4G technology (Isn't Verizon & AT&T technically the "owners" since they're the ones actually supplying the 4G? -- which isn't even TRUE 4G since it's speeds are only 25MB download max anyways?)
This whole thing is just a greedy joke from these evil fucks... idk if i'll buy another apple product ever again (I'll just keep my current apple devices until they break)

Just an FYI; 4G isn't the same in every country (remember 'The New iPad). Some carriers in some countries will be left out like with the iPad. If they couldn't fit a chip to service all the different flavors of 4G into the iPad it's unlikely they'll fit one in the new iPhone.

As much we all love Apple, Apple should be concentrating on its product rather than suing its very own suppliers.. We as the consumers have the right to choose what we want and need.. If Apple is better, we`ll get Apple. Make iPhone unique in its ways.. A phone will always be a phone.

Yes yes Apple should just sit back after spending years and tons of money on research and development and let one of its suppliers copy everything it worked so hard for. None of you can honestly say you would operate your business like that. NONE of you. Funny thing is EVERY other company protects their patents (go look it up). Just because we see Apple in the news doesn't mean they are the only company taking others to court for patent disputes. It's like if it's not Apple related the media doesn't really give a shit.
Having a patent doesn't mean the other guy can't use what you created they just have to pay to use it. Samsung could have easily paid the fee and still sold the units at the same cost and made a profit. It's not always about greed as some of you seem to always be blaming Apple for these days. If anyone was greedy it was Samsung and if some would stop frothing at the mouth every time Apple is mentioned they would see this.
Notice when Sony, HP or the same Samsung sues a small independent company and drives them out of business no one says a thing. Where are your pitch forks then Angry Mob?
