ATT just Unlocked iPhone 4S, but said I have to restore it to complete it. It's 5.1.1 Jailbroken

Ok, here is the situation, WHAT do I do???

iPhone 4S Jailbroken on 5.1.1.
I just got off the phone with ATT and they supposidely unlocked it for me. The customer service rep said I have to back it up and restore it in iTunes in order to complete the unlock. If I do that, it will go to iOS 6 and I lose the jailbreak. If I wait until the new redsn0w comes out that lets you re-restore to 5.1.1, will it unlock, or am I going to HAVE to restore to iOS 6 to unlock it???

Us sam and desactiva the phone plug it up to ur pc open itunes and it will lactiva ur phone a tell you the the iphone is unlock. U could fine Sam in cydia.

idk If I'm right, but can't you deactivate your phone with SamsPref and connect to your itunes, which will require the iTunes to ask you to insert a native sim, but if it's unlocked it'll take any sim.

Thats how i Unlocked mine when they asked me to restore. I just deactivated with SamsPref, had the "other" sim card (T-Mobile) in the phone when I connected to iTunes. Once I connected to iTunes, it gave me the congrats mesage

Yungromeo31 is right, Just de-activated using sam and plug it in to itunes. U will see the congrats message.

Another way that works-
Connect the phone to itunes and reboot it while it is still connected to itunes. Once the phone boots up it gets unlocked

Never tried this method before.

My 4s is supposed to be unlocked today, I'll update you and let you know what results are via this method
