Little Problem
Okay here it is. I pre-ordered a iPhone 5 on 14 Sept I went in on launch day and canceled the order and got one then, okay for the problem. I just received an email saying my iPhone 5 has shipped, I have a tracking number and everything. Checked the bank account and they have not charged it for another phone. So do you think it will come? I guess I will know tomorrow before 3pm if it is or not.

If I were to send it to anyone I would go with d3adly he's a pretty good guy. That being said my wife would be pissed if I gave it away.

This is exactly what happened to me with the 3GS at launch. Ordered a white 32GB right? I called to check status the guy said it shipped. Called the next day the girl says its on back order. I canceled it and just went in and bought it and they shipped the canceled order anyway. Sold it for $650.

I'm afraid that week will turn out to be a few months, possibly even see iFail5s or even iPhone6 before its public release.
