Otterbox iPhone 5 Defender case: Key features

When it comes to finding iPhone 5 cases you might have figured out already that there has been a limited choice since the new phone launched, but this had been expected considering Apple like to keep the iPhone 5 features under wraps until a time of their choosing. The situation has become a little easier now the days are increasing since the iPhone 5 release, which has allowed accessory makers to start creating protection for Apple’s latest hardware.
The Otterbox iPhone 5 Defender case has to be one of the best options when it comes to serious protection, which means bulking up your new gadget, although this is a sacrifice builders and other people with harsh environments are willing to take to protect their nice new iPhone 5. These users need their smartphones protected from drops onto hard surfaces, and also dust could be a problem and must be kept out of the iPhone 5 internals with a case.
There are a number of reasons why Otterbox iPhone 5 cases are the best for extreme protection, but most notably thanks to the attention to detail with excellent features that will make sure your iPhone 5 is protected in the best possible way. You’ll still need access to your ports but these doors must also close tightly to keep dirt and dust out, so Otterbox makes sure this is the case with their Port Protection feature to stop jacks/ports becoming damaged by dust and other unwanted elements.

Other key features for the iPhone 5 Defender case include an improved Slipcover, a built-in membrane to add additional protection against scratches on the screen, a custom opening for your camera and flash, and also a structure that will cover your iPhone 5 from all angles making sure it’s protected from potential damage. You can head over to otterbox.com for details on the Defender and other options.
Do you count on Otterbox to protect your gadgets? We’ve also included a video below that details this iPhone 5 case and features a customer service guru. You’ll hear about and see the Defender case in action, which helps you understand how far Otterbox go to protect your technology. If you prefer something a little less bulky and are not worried about needing extreme protection, then the iPhone 5 bumper case might be something more up your street

Ballastic cases are way better. Otter boxes have lost their value by being cheap asses.

Yea, im no longer with the otterbox wing! I used otter box defender, commuter and impact cases on my phones, ipods etc until i found ballistic. i currently use a ballistic Shell Gel Case and it feels a lot more safe and the material seems to be a lot better as well...
