Installous problem??
All of a sudden when I try to open Installous I get a popup message that says: outdated version, installous will terminate. Then it close out. Anybody know why this is happening?

It appears that *******.us has closed. Installous cannot find the site and so collapses in a heap. We will have to wait for a new version of Installous which is no longer dependent on *******.us.

Omg its true
We are very sad to announce that hackulous is shutting down. After many years, our community has become stagnant and our forums are a bit of a ghost town. It has become difficult to keep them online and well-moderated, despite the devotion of our staff. If you guys visit the *******.us website, it says that they shut down. I'll try to modify Installous to be dependent on a different source. For now try something like AppCake, etc...

Apple should really come to terms with the fact that the fight against piracy is a lost cause.
Their latest marketing strategies are really a slap to faithful customers, and I really hope Installous will come back with a vengeance, stronger than before.
I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

You can still use Installous app to install via ssh - just put phone in airplane mode and Installous will open ;-D

Ok, I am a tad confused here...
I downloaded an app through installous then installed it. Went back to installous to get another app and got the outdated version message. I Googled that error message and found that this problem was new. So I register with this site to post and now more ppl are talking of this. Went to *******.us and read their "goodbye" message and wanted to copy my "download later" list inside of install outs but could not access it because of the "outdated version" message. Turned off wifi so it wouldn't check for connection and found that the "download later" apps were gone from the list. Only the ones I had downloaded already remained.
Eon posted that it was back up... And it was so I downloaded another app and it worked fine. strangley, the "goodbye" message was still up on *******.us
Has someone already found a workaround??? Sounds unlikely
Previous to finding installous working again due to Eon's post, I downloaded "app VV" through Cydia then turned off my wifi so that when I used installous to install app VV, installous would not check for a connection, and I could access my downloads list without installous wanting to terminate or close.

I will keep installous for now working or not, and if I have to use it and it's broken, then I will turn on airplane mode before opening it.
"App VV" from Cydia seems a bit faster than what I am used to with installous.

Ok listen up this is what i did to make it work !!!
Put your phone in Airplane mode
Next Open up installous
Now go back and remove phone from Airplane mode
Now open Installous ..... Should now work
Only thing not working is Search so far.. it says API error blah blah
