This not a jailbreak. Thread is not for bitching about why jailbreak has not been released. It is to inform you on what steps you have to take!!!.

Update to 5.0.1

A recent tweet from one of the jailbreakers. Although doesnt say much, it does give reassurance for those who have been waiting.
It is clear now that everyone is safe to update their device both 4s and ipad2 users. Do so while you can!!!

Also Great news for perspective iPhone 4S and iPad 2 jailbreakers. pod2g confirmed a few minutes ago that significant progress has been made on the jailbreak, and we should except it in a week if all goes well.

As you already are aware of, the untethered jailbreak for A4 devices, iPod touch, iPhone 4, etc. was released last week to much fanfare.

Now the only thing left to do is release an A5 (iPad 2, and iPhone 4S) jailbreak for the full enchilada.

As some members have stated. We usually have some considerable amount of time to restore once apple releases a new firmware; on that note you still have time if you are not willing to give up your 4.3.3 jailbreak on the iPad2.

NOTE: With recent updates we have come to realize that A5 jailbreak is still far from close. With that said is you are on ipad2 and have a jailbroken 4.3.3 (Without IOS 4.3.3 SHSH saved) then I suggest you wait till there is concrete info on the upcoming jailbreak. For those who have A5 device (iPad: 4.3.5 or 5.0 and Iphone 4s: 5.0) you can go ahead and update because you have nothing to loose at the moment.

I don't see why they would. There's no advantage in 5.0 over 5.0.1. That Charlie miller bug didn't pan out to anything.

Im still on 4.3.3 on my ipad2 and are very torn on what to do... gah

Yeah, but that is what I dont have

So its upgrading a jailbroken ipad2 to a non-jailbroken fw (for now) without being able to go back.
And if I wait I might miss the window.. on the other hand.. I do got the shsh´s for 5.0.1 so regardless if apple is signing it still by the time the jailbreak is out or not I can move up to 5.0.1.
Didnt think of that.. ok I just made my decision, Im staying with jailbroken 4.3.3 and saved 5.0.1 shsh´s for later upgrade.

Well damn guess I'll make the jump to 5.0.1 also was hoping for unlock or for sure way to use the blobs I saved for my 4s but can't risk untether if it ever does come out be a little reassuring if some of these fuckers would elaborate if they are indeed working on making a working injection vector since limera1n won't on a5.

How the hell was that an issue when comex made jailbreakme for ipad2 which is a5 chip.

I never heard no bs bout injection vector then...

Any real word of update from apple?

Charlie miller prolly was right up their ass telling them all about details for pod2g's exploit to patch it so he can get his fuckin brown noser kudos.
