TinyUmbrella just got a small bugfix (hopefully I didn't introduce even more bugs in this old codebase). There was a nasty UI locking issue when you clicked 'Save SHSH'. I've partially fixed it. But now there's flicker in the saved shshs window.

Although we cannot exploit/restore iPhone 4S SHSHs we still should save them just in case. I've just updated TU to support iPhone 4S 5.0.1b "9A406".

this program does not recognize my iphone 4s?! I am on 5.0.1 I just recently upgraded, and it has worked in the past on my iphone 4 before I sold it. For whatever reason it does not show my iphone 4S. I am using windows can anyone else clarify for me and help if possible?

OK OK OK!!!!.....Finally after about a week of searching I finally figured out how to fix the problem! After researching for a while I found a post that shows an easy fix for this problem. Anybody that is having trouble with their iPhone being recognized in Tiny Umbrella should use this fix. Prior to this fix my iPhone 4S would not show as a connected device. Now it shows up.

You have to find your "sqlite3.dll" file. It should be in an iTunes folder, either 64Bit or 32Bit...CHECK BOTH it is there! Mine was located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support". Copy that file to the same directory as Tinyumbrella and it should work fine. If you have more than 1 "sqlite3.dll" file copy each one, one at a time until you get the right one and it should work fine.

Do NOT....copy more than one at a time to the folder with Tiny Umbrella. Apparently this fix can be used on other software's like pdanet and iexplorer. This worked for me....hopefully it does for everyone else. I did not have to reinstall iTunes, Java, make a .bat file, or anything else all of the threads I found were talking about. Hit The Thanks button if I helped you....it took me a little while to find this fix even though it wasn't my own.

Not sure if I can post the thread I found this from because it is on a different site so I will just give a thanks to a user by the name of killer05115 for the original find.

Did you uncheck the 2 boxes it told you too? or is it not showing up at all?

yep....all the cydia boxes are unchecked, it just does not show my phone as a connected device. I am using Windows 7 64 bit, not sure if that matters either. As a matter a fact, it worked fine on my wife's iphone 4 before I updated and re-jailbroke it. But it just does not see my device in tinyumbrella. Maybe wi-Fi connect should be disabled in iTunes....I'm not sure (fyi iTunes is not open when using Tinyumbrella)

I connected my 4s ...unchecked the 2 cydia options and it says 3 shsh cache files saved....is that all now or do i have to follow this through with any other steps? (new to tiny umbrella)

also i thought apple release a new version of 5.0.1 9A406 but when i updated my phone yesterday my phone is only showing 9A405 instead >? i tried to click the update option in iTunes but still no luck...

Yep...iTunes sees it just fine...my screenshot of tinyumbrella is very similar to yours...I have all the old blobs, I deleted the recently connected devices out since it wouldn't see my 4S. But I do not get the "My Connected Devices" dropdown on the left that you have...strange.

It means either your device is not connected or TinyUmbrella cannot locate your device.

Try testing this, close TinyUmbrella, backup your current .shsh folder from this directory "C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\" to another directory, and then delete this file "lib-win.jar" from the "C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\.shsh\.cache". Launch TinyUmbrella. Just a suggestion though.

mine also is on9A405. I have sprint and update says I'm already on 5.0.1 even though you say i need 5.0.1 9A406..... ideas?

I have 9A405 as well and also am having no luck. Obviously not compatible. I didn't even know they had a 9A406. Going to download 06, update, and then try again. Will report back. Apple servers are hella slow right now.

dont think its a deal breaker. If u dont have and network issues(no service) then no need to go to ...06. But if you do then 06 is ur option. I opted for 06 cuz was having that issue. But then again its ur call
